pag business - pwede malugi, pwedi ring kumita
pag sugal - madaling manalo madali ring matalo

try to go directly sa bank (metrobank, bpi or bdo), marami silang maiooffer na mas magandang plan na different kysa sa time deposit with a higher interest rate.

sa coop, mas mataas ang interest rate kasi pinapautang nila sa iba ring mga members with a high interest rate.

Maganda maginvest sa Banco deOro, mataas pa interest rate ng Time compared to Metrobank. Stability nito very good din, owned by Henry Sy (SM Malls) kasi.

if you want higher yields than what banks are offering, you can try mutual funds, safer than investing directly than on stocks.

I like this thread...

Tanong ko lang din, what's the average interest rate among banks on TD scheme for 1-3 years?

pinagpipilian kong mga bangko kse are Metrobank, PNB, East-West Bank.. 2 pa, either Chinabank or BPI yun. Halos kapitbahay ko lang kse tong mga bangkong to.

May nakapagsabi nga sa akin...don daw sa AFP and PNP malaki ang interest...

So,  If you have a relative from the AFP or PNP, you can ask them for an sponsorship to AFPSLAI or CWSLAI. You can earn 20% per annum.

Interests are released twice a year, June ( 10%) and December ( 10%). You can opt to withdraw the interest or roll it over for a better yield for the next interest season.

I am just now aware if there were changes or update in the policies.

1,500 and 3k interest from 100,000? Mababa nga ...

factor in inflation, then you will realize that you didn't earn anything at all.

agree! lugi ka sa bank pag nag-invest specially on savings and td. kung talagang extra cash yan, sa short term money market mo i-invest habang nag-iisip ka ng magandang business.

best way is to find a good Cooperative.. i invested 30k lang in a certain cooperative and in2 yrs 30K nadin kinita pinaparoll ko lang.

tip lang is.. oo nakaka kaba and may kaunting pagdududa pero if u know the person handling the cooperative mas secured ka. another thing is.. pag nag invest ka always consider na "what if mawala yung pera ko" kakayanin mo ba? hehe this are not high risk.. but the risk is always there. the higher the percentage the higher the risk.

risk is something imaginary unless ur confident of earning :D

Kung gusto nyo mas malaki  at mas safe, Try buying government bonds from Pag-ibig Mutual Funds. Safer, 8% and taxfree. Available in P5K, P10K, P50K, 100K, 200K, 500K, P1M5 in (5 or 10 years scheme) but the interest is every 6 months. Pag-ibig bonds lang so far ang alam kong TAX FREE.

Paano po ba mag compute ng time deposit pag kasama yung with holding tax.

Kunwari deposit is $1,000
Tapos 1.50 interest PA
then 20% witholding.

How much na yung pera after 3 years?

Thanks po.

$1000 x interest rate per annum x period (3yrs= 365x3) x 0.8 (tax)

then divide it by 365.

for example

$1000 x .015 x 1095 x 0.8 = 13140

13140/365 = $36

as a general term eto po ang formula:

ito po basic formula for computing

F = P(1 + i)raise to n

i = r / m
F = P(1 + r/m)raise to nm

where:
F = future amount
P = Present amount
i = intrest
r = nominal interes
n = no of years
m = no. of compounding interest (quarterly, semiannually, annual)

Hope this helps.
