Designing and implementing the right compensation and benefit plan for any workforce is a complex task. Most employees are expecting more comprehensive compensation and benefit plan in that employers must be aware of these and must make informed decisions whenever they create such a plan considering that it has financial and administrative implications.  In effect, the plan is an integral people management strategy  that must facilitate in attracting, motivating and retaining the best talents and as a result, improving organizational effectiveness.
 
 
Objectives

At the end of the seminar, the participants would be able to design and implement strategic employee compensation and benefits programs in their respective companies in order to attract, motivate, and retain the best workforce. Specifically, they would be able to:

- formulate strategies on employee compensation and benefits;
- promote pay internal equity and external comparability;
-establish remuneration scheme anchored on competency differentiation;
- enhance workplace productivity through performance-based pay modes; and
-design and implement employee benefits programs that address both the needs of workers and employers.

• Issue editor of the Philippine Journal of Labor and Industrial Relations and member of the editorial board of the Philippine Journal on Innovation and Entrepreneurship
• He obtained four degrees from the University of the Philippines: Bachelor of Arts in Sociology; Diploma in Industrial Relations; Master of Industrial Relations (major in Human Resource Development); and Ph.D. in Educational Anthropology
• An Accredited Voluntary Arbitrator of the Department of Labor and Employment,
 Dr. Binghay is recipient of various awards and recognitions such as the “HR Leadership Award” by the 2006 World HRD Congress held in India
