Work permit vs. working visa

Ano ba difference netong 2? Meron ba? Can anyone enlighten me about the difference, if any, of a working visa and a work permit? Do I need a sponsorship from an interested employer abroad, say in the European Union or the US, before I can apply for a work permit or a working visa? Any input would be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Just to give you an idea

Working VISA is stamp in your passport from the US or any Embassy whereas a Permit is another stamp to ur passport when you finally reach the other country.

VISA is just a pass to be able to be accepted at the airport immigration in other country, while the permit is like a business permit where you can't conduct certain jobs or means of business without this. This is also called the Employment Pass.

VISA is for the immigration, the work permit is for the Labor...

Ok the difference is for Working Visa, for example in US is (H1B) and it works as you working permit, you will work legally and stay in the US as working immigrant and it has an expiration of 2years, whereas, some uses the term "working permit" on documents required before you are granted a visa. for example, dubai employers, they will require you a "fit to work" certification from any acrrediated clinic by the POEA before granting u invitation to work in dubai.

Magkaiba sila, although essentially parang parehas din...

lets say for instance coming to the United Kingdom you would need visa. Literally the work permit is a piece of paper saying u r allowed to work in where ever that place u chose and the working visa is the one attached to ur passport, it's a sticker-like thing telling the immigration staff in the airport that u r allowed to get in to that certain country to work. u can get the working visa in that country's embassy there in the Philippines and the work permit is from a Gov't office in the country u wanted to go to.
