1. Condos, because they're more realistic and flexible, with provided easier access to commercial and entertainment hubs.
2. Convenience. You buy a home not because of money, but because you want to live in an absolute sanctuary that you dream of.
3. Community, because it's more fun when you're surrounded with people whom you can share common activities with.

Explanation: I live in Cypress Towers, a condominium development of DMCI Homes, for two years now. Convenience is achieved in all facilities and amenities available. And I go to gym with my friends. Bottomline: Condos are great.

There's a post I've read in this other forum which actually answers this question too. Here's the link: http://www.expatexchange.com/expat/index.cfm?frmid=260&forumid=0&tpcid=3362349&dbname=ee&shared=N. I hope it helps.

Based on experience ito ha, mas nafe-feel daw ng mga owners ang house and lots ang privacy at seclusion kaysa sa mga condominium owners.

When I purchased 2 units in Zinnia Towers from DMCI Homes, I have made a lot of studying. Also, what made everything go smoothly is because I acquired an assistance from a trusted, and licensed agent. Apart from these, here are the characteristics I'm looking for a home: 1) Strategic location and access; 2) Good structure and Design; and 3) Built by a a trusted brand.

Consider your lifestyle and preference as these have big contributions to your decision making. Also, budget. But like I say, money is no object, especially when it comes to an investment like this - a home, your home. When I purchased a unit in Zinnia Towers, I made sure to have a list to narrow down my options, thus, narrowing also the process. Also, I hired an agent.

A lot. Here are the things I've considered when I bought a unit in Zinnia Towers:
1) Location (access and proximity); 2) Convenience; and 3) Developer.

Hindi ba DMCI Homes ang may project ng Zinnia Towers? Bakit mo napiling bumili ng unit mula sa DMCI? Anong meron sila na wala sa ibang developers?

In buying a house I consider first the price and location. And I also look if it's safe to live in.
