Magkano ang Income vs. Expenses nyo? Sapat ba?
« on: July 06, 2012, 04:44:45 PM »

Here's our list of monthly expenses:

P2,800 - Meralco
800 - Water
700 - Shellane (minsan umaabot until 1.5 months)
7,000 - Market & Groceries
5,000 - Fares & Food at work
300 - Cell phone Load
2,700 - phone & internet
600- school bus service

Total:19,900

So may sobrang almost 10,100

Pero di ko na sinali dyan yun mga kain sa labas paminsan-minsan, pasyal sa mall, clothes, shoes, etc namin, pambili ng konting luho as in wala na kasi halos. Kulang talaga, kaya madalas may hinuhulugan pang utang in order to survive.

To all the members here : Please share your thoughts, it seems lahat na ng bilihin sa ating bansa ay napakamahal.

net income = Php 35,000
expenses = Php 25,000

married and with a 2 year old son...i'm the only one working...si misis full time mom and house manager...ang pinakamalaki sa expenses namin is rent sa bahay...we're renting a condo for Php 10k...medyo nakakabawi lang sa cost ng pamasahe dahil walking distance lang papuntang office ko, 5 mins walk lang...if not for the 10k rent ay mas malaki sana nasusube kada buwan

which means around P10k ipon ko per month.
Sana masustain ko eto or madagdagan pa

Karamihan kasi ay living a lifestyle they cant really afford, or hardly can.

Income-Savings= Expenses. If this is your formula, malamang marami kayong masasave.

Which means talagang kelangan may icut na expenses para malaki ang gustong masave.... still subjective eto. depende sa pangangailangan at kakayanan ng tao na mag ipon. .

For me  this really helps. The reason why i became a member of this website din is to be able to learn different facets of saving and become financially independent. I've been reading books of Robert Kiyosaki at totoo namang marami syang magagandang aral about investing, savings.

But just to share my piece, siguro Net Income ko is around P40,000 - P50,000
Net expenses ko is P15000- P20,000 ... so you do the math :)

This is a nice thread. maganda na nakakapagcompare tayo... I would like to get your opinion din sana if I am doing the right thing in managing my monthly salary.  May loan kasi ako sa bangko ... actually yung  house namin so tulong tulong kami sa pagbabayad tapos nag start narin ako sa stocks pero under EIP (Easy Investment Plan) tapos savings ng 1,500k monthly.

Tingin nyo base sa computations below ng monthly income ko, I will be able to get enough retirement fund? how long should I invest sa EIP or should I start active trading narin sa COL?

Monthly Allowance Food                                    7000.00
House Loan (share ko sa loan ng bahay namin)      5000.00
Emergency Fund (Savings Acct)                         1500.00
COL (Colfinancial-EIP)                                       5000.00
Sunlife(Variable Insurance, payable up to 10 yrs)   2000.00
Bills and Utilities /Internet                                  4500.00
                                                                     ___________
Total Monthly Income (net)                   =====    25000.00

@Intralover.... good thing that you are realizing to value your hard earned money by saving

May nag suggest kasi sa akin regarding investing to COL and emergency accounts ang sabi...
Savings (COL + VUL) .. approx. 24% to 28% (depending kung magkano ang VUL portion that goes to investment, & those that goes to insurance/fees)

The only thing na nakikita is yung billing pwede mo bang squeeze ito para lalo mag boost yung savings %?
