Nabalitaan nyo na etong incident? This happened between V5 host Ramon Tulfo and actor Raymart Santiago/Claudine Barretto... Tingin nyo sino nagsasabi ng TOTOO?

=============================================================

MANILA -- Philippine Daily Inquirer columnist and TV5 host Ramon Tulfo and actor Raymart Santiago exchanged blows at the NAIA 3 Sunday.

Tulfo said he was simply trying to pacify Claudine Barretto, Santiago's wife, who was allegedly verbally abusing a ground crew when Santiago turned to him.

In a television interview, Tulfo had bruises on his face.

MANILA, Philippines – Actor Raymart Santiago and journalist Mon Tulfo got into a fist fight Sunday afternoon at the arrival area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.

In an interview with dzMM, Tulfo said he just arrived from Davao onboard a Cebu Pacific flight when he saw a familiar face at the arrival area reprimanding a flight attendant.

Pinagalitan ang ground stewardess ng Cebu Pacific,” he said.

Tulfo said he later on recognized that it was Santiago’s wife, actress Claudine Barretto, who was scolding the airport staff.

Kaya sabi ko buti nga,” he said.

Tulfo said he then decided to take a photo of Barretto through his camera when he heard that Barretto was already cursing the stewardess.

Tulfo, however, said he was caught off guard after Santiago approached him and was forcefully trying to grab his cellphone.

Doon nag-umpisa ang kaguluhan,” he said.

Tulfo said several people approached him and a punch landed on his face that’s why he decided to fight back.

Tulfo said it took a while before airport authorities responded to stop the brawl.

Airport authorities are currently conducting an investigation over the incident.

lahat may kasalanan dyan...

Claudine blamed the airline as the root cause of all their grief. Well, girl, life will always be imperfect even for people like you who are financially well off.

The root cause of the commotion is actually you and your anger.  Had you displayed proper behavior amidst the stressful situation, you could have been spared of all troubles.

I ask you  now--was it worth it to display that attitude and suffer the consequences you are dealing now?

I would say, settle the argument with Mon Tulfo, by admitting you are in the wrong.  At this point this is the easiest way out of your pain.  Forget about your pride.  Save yourself and your family more aggravation by covering lies with more lies.

Your money cannot buy your integrity any more.  The public knows you and your husband have no basis to even complain because you are the perpetrators.

Marami pong natutulungan ang show nila. Kaya nilang banggain kahit artista pa yan for public service (with proof hindi yun naninira lang ng isang tao).

I work for the airline industry and I'll be the first one to admit that this industry is not without its faults. However, the off-loading of their luggage is a standard procedure for the passengers', crews' and aircraft's safety. But to verbally abuse employees because of this is totally unfounded for. If I were Cebu Pacific, I would give the Santiagos their compensation and then ban them from flying my airline forever to teach them and every other abusive passenger a lesson. Unfortunately some people equate fame with ENTITLEMENT.

I just want to point out that lost luggages do happen in air travel. But this does not exempt our poor and inefficient country, In fact, it happens to international flights as well!!! Not unless you own your plane or you're like a head of state who flies with your own 747s expect this kind of thing to happen. It happened to me several times, the last being a couple of years ago flying from the US to London.

The thing is there is a proper way of doing it! First,  you go to the airline counter/office and find out. Subsequently , you are asked to to fill out some paper works so that the airline could trace the whereabouts of the lost luggages. They are usually more than happy to deliver them when those arrive. Berating an innocent, clueless ground crew would not solve the problem for sure!!! Barretto could have done it the better way and not reprimanding the poor ground stewarddess

There is this new video circulating the net that says Claudine started the brawl...

nabasa nyo na eto?

MANILA, Philippines - Close to three weeks after the melee between Ramon Tulfo and the group of Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto, TV 5 got hold of a copy of a video purportedly showing that it was the latter who first hurt the columnist and TV5 host.

The video shows a man in a pink shirt who was talking to Tulfo. The man was beside a woman in pink tops and white shorts, attire that is similar to what Barretto was wearing during the May 6 incident at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City. The man in pink shirt was seen on the video hitting Tulfo in the head with his left hand. The scene reportedly took place before the melee.

Tulfo had said he was simply trying to pacify Barretto, Santiago's wife, who was allegedly verbally abusing a ground crew over her offloaded luggage, when Santiago turned on him. Tulfo said he had arrived from Davao onboard a Cebu Pacific flight when he chanced upon Barretto scolding the ground crew of Cebu Pacific.

Tulfo said he was taking pictures of Barretto while also trying to pacify her when Santiago came up to him and allegedly tried to get his cellphone. He refused, and he said that was when all the trouble started.

The Santiagos have kept saying the amateur video earlier uploaded on youtube, showing their group ganging up on Tulfo, told only the second half of the story, because, they claimed, before this happened, it was Tulfo who first hit them, prompting the group to retaliate. They made a public appeal for others who may have videotaped the "first part" of the incident to step forward, so they can tell the truth.
