Is there such as a thing as Traveler's Emergency Fund?

I only wonder whether there's an emergency fund suited fro Traveling.. You know personal finance books and blogs discuss the importance of having an emergency fund – your “rainy day fund”. so i wonder if this is applicable also to traveling?
